PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the type of a percussion instrument sound in music without using a template or requiring pre-analysis.SOLUTION: An audio signal processing device includes an attack detection part 32 which detects an attack from an audio signal, a section detection part 33 which detects the section shape of a sounding section starting at the position of the attack in a frequency spectrum of the audio signal, and a snare/high hat determination part 35 which determines whether the detected attack is an attack of a snare drum or an attack of a high hat according to the section shape.
