PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting wire rod covered with an insulating coating layer provided with an adhesive layer, and a superconducting coil formed using the superconducting wire rod.SOLUTION: A superconducting wire rod 1 includes: a superconducting laminate 9 in which an intermediate layer 5, an oxide superconducting layer 6, and metal stabilization layers 7, 8 are laminated on a tape-shaped substrate 2; and an insulating coating layer 10 which is formed of an insulating tape with an adhesive layer 11 covering the outer peripheral surface of the superconducting laminate 9. The insulating coating layer 10 covers the outer periphery of the superconducting laminate 9 by attaching the insulating tape with the adhesive layer 11 to the superconducting laminate 9 along the longitudinal direction. The insulating coating layer 10 comprises a main coating part 10A covering the top surface side of the metal stabilization layer, side wall parts 10B each covering from the side surface side of the metal stabilization layers 7, 8 to the side surface side of the substrate 2, and a back surface part 10C covering the back surface side of the substrate 2. The adhesive layer 11 has an adhesion of 2 N/cm or more. |
