PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of a display, to reduce its weight, and to decrease manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a display for displaying an image on a display surface; and a rectangular frame 6 which has a pair of first opposite side parts 7 that are placed on an outer peripheral side of the display and parallel to each other and a pair of second opposite side parts 8 that are orthogonal to the first opposite side parts and parallel to each other. At least either the pair of first opposite side parts 7 or the second opposite side parts 8 are curved in the direction in which central parts in a longitudinal direction are away from each other in the state that an external force is not imparted and the display device is provided with joint members 16 which join at least either the pair of first opposite side parts 7 or the pair of second opposite side parts 8 and put the curved state into a straight state. |
