PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight and small-sized hand-held tape cutter, capable of quickly and surely creating a loop-like knob and simplifying the structure of a knob creating part.SOLUTION: In a tape cutter, a roll-like pressure-sensitive adhesive tape T is rotatably supported on a tape holding part 5 disposed between a pair of right and left side plates 2, 2 of a tape cutter body 1. A loop-like knob creating part 10 includes: a base plate 11 having a planar tape setting surface 11a; and a movable plate 14 provided with a saw blade plate 12 for cutting the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape on the upper part and movable from the cutting position for the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape T to a bonding position for bonding a cut part of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape T toward an adhesive face of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape T on the tape setting surface 11a. The loop-like knob creating part is disposed between the side plates 2, 2 behind the tape holding part 5. |
