The invention relates to a tumbler (10) for an access protection device (1) of a closable spatial region (2) of a mechanical system (3), with a blocking element (20) which is movable within a housing (11) between a locking position (4) and a release position (5) by means of drive (12), a transmission element (31) which is arranged between the drive (12) and the blocking element (20), and an emergency release (30) with which a movement of the blocking element (20) between the positions can be brought about independently of the drive (12). For this purpose, it is provided according to the invention that, via an actuation of the emergency release (30), the transmission element (31) is movable between a coupling position (6) and a decoupling position (7), in the coupling position (6) the transmission element (31) is operatively connected to the blocking element (20) and in the decoupling position (7) the transmission element (31) is detached from the blocking element (20), as a result of which it is possible for the blocking element (20) to move out of the locking position (4) into the release position (5). |
