Disclosed is a backlight system (21) comprising a light-equalizing mechanism (24), a reflecting plate (212), a back frame (23) and a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate (211); the light-equalizing mechanism (24) is provided on the back frame (23); the PET substrate (211) is provided between the light-equalizing mechanism (24) and the back frame (23); the reflecting plate (212) is provided between the light-equalizing mechanism (24) and the PET substrate (211); the back frame (23) comprises at least two main splicers, the at least two main splicers being spliced into the main frame (27) of the back frame (23). Also disclosed is a flat-panel display device (20). The above-mentioned system and device can effectively prevent light leakage and the collapse of the reflecting plate (212).
