PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of securing flexural stiffness even when a reduced number of ribs are arranged in a base cover.SOLUTION: A base cover 1 includes four ribs 11, 12, 13, 14 in a horizontal direction of a display device. The two ribs 12, 13 at the center have inverted nearly T-shaped cross sectional shapes, and the ribs 11, 14 on the outer sides have I-shaped cross sectional shapes. Placement parts 122a, 122b or 132a, 132b for placing sheet plate members 3 are arranged on both of the longitudinal sides of the ribs 12, 13 having inverted nearly T-shaped cross sectional shapes. A cross sectional secondary moment is larger and the shapes are advantageous to shrinkage in the ribs 12, 13 having inverted nearly T-shaped cross sectional shapes. |
