A proposal for identifying a context of a person in a telecommunication network is disclosed. By means of obtaining available physical variables of an environment, it is possible to establish a plurality of determinable contexts. Thus, for each determinable context, contextual conditions can be evaluated in order to assign a degree of contextual matching to each determinable context. This is used to make a selection of an active context and to communicate the active context of the person with a telecommunication network entity. The physical variables are retrieved by means of a plurality of distributed sensors, and optionally, from the telecommunication network. |
