PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture, at a low cost, an image reading device capable of performing oblique adjustment of an automatic document conveyance unit with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An image reading device 4 includes a scanner unit 2 that reads an image of a document M to generate image data, and an automatic document conveyance unit 3 that automatically conveys the document M for image reading. The scanner unit 2 includes a scanning optical system 22 that irradiates the document M conveyed to a slit glass 21 by the automatic document conveyance unit 3 with light and changes a traveling direction of light reflected on the document M, an imaging optical system 26 that focuses the reflection light passed through the scanning optical system 22 into an image as image light, and a photoelectric conversion member 27 that reads the focused image light. The scanning optical system 22 is supported on at least one of both ends in the main scanning direction X by an adjustment support rail 67 capable of adjusting its height position with respect to the slit glass 21. |
