PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a plate structure thereby simplifying the assembly operation.SOLUTION: A vehicle shift lever apparatus includes: a base bracket 30; a ball part 20 connected with a shift lever 12; a socket 32 which rotatably supports the ball part 20; a ball support part 38 which supports the ball part 20 through the socket 32; a plate 34 which prevents the ball part 20 from being come off; holding claws 42 which restrict the plate 34 from moving upward along an axial direction of the shift lever 12; protruding pieces 44 of the plate 34 which are engaged with the holding claws 42; groove parts 48 of the plate 34 where the engagement with each holding claw 42 is released; and a claw part 52 which engages with an engagement part 50 formed at the plate 34 thereby preventing rotations of the plate 34 in a circumferential direction. |
