PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent short circuit between terminals.SOLUTION: A battery assembly 13 consisting of a plurality of batteries 23 connected in series while being superimposed is held by means of a pair of end plates 15 provided at both ends in the superimposition direction of the batteries 23. An electric unit 17 housing an electric component being connected electrically with two total electrodes of a battery assembly is attached to the surface of one end plate 15 on the side opposite from the side abutting against the battery assembly 13. The end plate 15 and the electric unit 17 are provided, respectively, with slide members 33 and 35 engaging with each other, and at least one of the slide members 33 and 35 is formed to extend in the slide direction. The electric unit 17 slides in such a direction that one of the terminals 19 and 21 connected, respectively, with two total electrodes separates from the total electrode with which the terminal is connected. |
