PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel list management method which prevents selecting operation of a broadcast station which cannot be received, from being performed.SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver comprises: storage means which stores a channel list of information on at least frequency channels and the positions of the broadcast stations associated with the frequency channels within the channel list; position acquisition means which acquires the present position of a moving object; comparison means which compares the present position of the moving object acquired by the position acquisition means with the positions of the broadcast stations stored in the storage means; reception possibility determination means which determines whether a broadcast station can be received on the basis of the result of the comparison by the comparison means; and registration deletion means which, when the reception possibility determination means determines that the broadcast station cannot be received, deletes the registration of information corresponding to the broadcast station, from the channel list. |
