PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oxygen saturation image having a resolution as high as possible while ensuring a sensitivity required to capture changes in degree of oxygen saturation of hemoglobin in blood.SOLUTION: An analyte is irradiated with illumination light for oxygen saturation of 473±10 nm having a different absorption coefficient for oxyhemoglobin and deoxyhemoglobin and a reflection image of the analyte is imaged by an image pickup device (monochromatic ordinary sensor 53 or monochromatic high-sensitivity sensor 60). A signal for degree of oxygen saturation is obtained by this imaging. Only when the amount of the reflection light of the illumination light for oxygen saturation is below the predetermined threshold value, the sensitivity of the signal for degree of oxygen saturation is improved. Improving the sensitivity is carried out by binning processing, exposure time adjustment of the image pickup device or the like. |
