摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a solar cell element, by which electrodes can be appropriately and efficiently formed by a screen printing process while eliminating influences of abnormal coarse particles that disturb screen printing.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a solar cell element comprises applying a conductive paste on a substrate for a solar cell element by screen printing to form electrodes by use of the following screen printing machine. The screen printing machine includes: a scraper 8 that moves on a screen printing plate 7 to apply a paste on the screen printing plate 7; and a squeegee 9 that extrudes the applied paste on the screen printing plate 7 through openings of the screen printing plate 7 to a printing object 11 under the plate while moving as the tip of the squeegee pressing the screen printing plate 7. The screen printing plate 7 has a trapping part 72 on a course of the scraper 8 and/or the squeegee 9 for trapping abnormal coarse particles that are included in the conductive paste and disturb screen printing.
