BIAXIALLY ORIENTED POLYAMIDE FILM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide film endowed simultaneously with excellent gas barrier property and pinhole resistance more economically.SOLUTION: This biaxially oriented polyamide film is a film having a resin layer including a vinylidene chloride copolymer on at least one surface of a biaxially oriented polyamide film including 2-5 mass% of an ethylenic copolymer and yields a pinhole number of 10 or fewer in a 1000-cycle repetitive flexural fatigue test in a 5°C atmosphere. The biaxially oriented polyamide film also shows an oxygen permeability of 100 mL/md MPa or below in an atmosphere of 20°C and 85%RH.
