PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system capable of displaying a cursor by intuitive operation made a use without missing the cursor.SOLUTION: An image display system 100 includes: an image display device 30; a pointer 50 for operating a cursor displayed on the image display device; and a drawing device 40 that creates image signals for displaying the cursor and outputs the same on the image display device. The pointer transmits an identification signal representing a reception of light emitted from the image display device and a movement signal representing a movement of the pointer to the drawing device. The drawing device receives the identification signal and the movement signal, and when the pointer receives the identification light in a state that the cursor is not displayed on the image display device, creates an image signal for displaying the cursor in a periphery of the image display area based on the movement signal. |
