PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electrical discharge machining device and an automatic programming device for the same that can arbitrarily specify a location for piling minimum requirements of an attaching material to fasten a core to a work base material.SOLUTION: A wire electrical discharge machining device and an automatic programming device for the same are designed to: give a machining shape; determine whether or not intersections of straight lines lie or whether or not intersections of the straight lines with curve lines lie, or whether or not curvature changing points lie; automatically calculate junction points and the number of the points of the lines making the machining shape, when determining that the intersections lie; calculate mass of the machining shape; specify on attaching locations a predetermined range including a portion or whole of the intersections of lines forming the machining shape (SA03-SA05); determine irregularity of a corner from an offset of a wire electrode, if the attaching locations for an attaching material is insufficient; and create and abort a program for the machining shape having the attaching locations increased or decreased or changed (SA06-SA09). |
