PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a complex for a carbon dioxide separation, the method enabling the complex for the carbon dioxide separation excellent in gas separation property to be produced with high productivity, and to provide a complex for carbon dioxide separation and a module for carbon dioxide separation.SOLUTION: The method of producing a complex for the carbon dioxide separation comprises: an application liquid preparing step of preparing an application liquid for a carbon dioxide separation layer formation including a water absorbent polymer, a carbon dioxide carrier and water, and having the mass ratio of the water absorbent polymer to the carbon dioxide carrier between 1:9 and 2:3; an application step of applying the application liquid for the carbon dioxide separation layer formation onto a support at a temperature range between 15°C and 35°C and at such a viscosity that a viscosity measurement value is between 0.5 Pa s and 10 pa s by B type viscosity measurement at a number of revolutions of 60 rpm, thereby forming a liquid film of the application liquid for the carbon dioxide separation layer formation on the support; and a drying step of drying the liquid film of the application liquid for the carbon dioxide separation layer formation on the support thereby obtaining a carbon dioxide separation layer.
