摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrode materials.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrode material (B) capable of causing a redox reaction by exchanging alkali-ions and electrons with an electrolyte. Usages of this invention are for a primary (secondary) electrochemical generator, a supercapacitor, and a supercapacitor type optical modulation device. The electrode material includes a complex oxide corresponding to general formula: AMZONF. Here, A comprises an alkali metal, M comprises at least one kind of transition metal, and optionally at least one kind of non-transition metal, or mixtures of them, Z comprises at least one non-metal, O is oxygen, N is nitrogen, and F is fluorine. Each of Coefficients a, m, z, o, n, and f is equal to or more than 0, and selected to ensure electroneutrality of the complex oxide. Here, a conductive carbon material is uniformly deposited on a surface of the electrode material to obtain an electric field distribution that is substantially regular on a surface of particles of the conductive carbon material.
