The invention relates to a plug part (1) for a plug-in connection, in particular an optical conductor, comprising a plug housing (2), in which a plug insert (11) having at least one plug pin (12) for receiving a conductor, in particular an optical conductor, is arranged. The plug part (1) can be inserted in a correspondingly configured socket part (20) in a plug-in direction (A), comprising a locking means (8) for detachably locking the plug part (1) in the socket part (20). The plug part (1) is further provided with an unlocking means (9), by way of which the interlock of the locking means (8) on the socket part (20) can be released. The plug part comprises a protective device (4) for protecting the face side of the plug pin (12). The protective device (4) can be moved from a closed position with a covered face side to an open position with an exposed face side, and by inserting the plug part (1) into the socket part (20) by interacting with the socket part (20), the protective device can be moved from the closed position to the open position. In the plug direction (A), the unlocking means (9) is slidably mounted on the plug housing (2), wherein unlocking means (9) can interact with the locking means (8) such that in the case of a longitudinal shift of the unlocking means (9) relative to the plug housing (2) essentially in a direction against the plug-in direction, an interlock brought about by the locking means (8) can be released. |
