A contact that can maintain the function of a spring portion even under relatively high current conditions, and an inspection jig equipped with the contact are provided. A contact of an inspection jig includes a columnar portion and a cylindrical portion disposed around the columnar portion. The columnar portion includes a front end portion protruding from the cylindrical portion, and a rear end portion. The cylindrical portion has a spring portion, and the spring portion is configured to expand and compress to change a dimension between the front end portion of the columnar portion and the rear end portion of the cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion is formed of an alloy of nickel and phosphorus. |
