The present invention provides a shock absorption device of a worm shaft for electric power steering, which includes: a worm shaft which meshes with a worm wheel in a housing and which is arranged so as to be rotatable in such a manner that bearings at both end portions support the rotation; a first plate which is arranged in such a manner that one surface is folded correspondingly to one or both outer wheels of the bearings; a shock absorption member, formed from an elastically deformable material, which is arranged in such a manner that one surface is folded corresponding to the other surface of the first plate and which is provided with intermittent elastically deformable grooves having a predetermined depth on the outer circumferential surface and the inner circumferential surface; and a second plate which is arranged so as to be in contact with the other corresponding surface of the shock absorption member.
