PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize an object in an image without depending on a user's focus specification operation and perform recognition adaptive processing in processing of image data with a specifiable focus state.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 100 comprises: an input unit 101 that receives input of ray information indicating the intensity of photographed light and direction information indicating the direction of the light (light field image data); and a storage unit 102 that stores the data. A reconstruction unit 103 generates first image data in which a plurality of objects are in focus, and outputs it to a recognition processing unit 104. The recognition processing unit 104 recognizes an object in an image. The reconstruction unit 103 generates second image data in which a specific object is in focus, and outputs it to an adaptive processing unit 106. The adaptive processing unit 106 performs image processing on the specific object on the basis of the recognition processing result of the recognition processing unit 104. The data subjected to image processing is output from an output unit 107. |
