PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curl removing device capable of removing a curl generated in a recording medium more widely than a conventional configuration.SOLUTION: A curl correcting device 100 comprises: conveyance roller units D1, D2 and D3 which consist of drive rollers 139, 140 and 141 and driven rollers 130, 134 and 138 and at least three of which are disposed in parallel in a recording medium conveying direction and convey a recording medium P; and correcting members 133 and 137 each capable of energizing the recording medium between the adjacent conveying roller units D1, D2 and D2, D3. When the recording medium spreads over the adjacent conveying roller units, the correcting members 133 and 137 are energized to the recording medium, and when the recording medium is separated from one of the conveyance roller units, the correcting members 133 and 137 are operated so that the energization to the recording medium is released. |
