PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device in which fatigue of a harness caused by opening and closing of a cover is suppressed from locally concentrating, without increasing the size.SOLUTION: A harness 471 includes a first extended part 474 and a second extended part 475. The first extended part 474 is locked to a harness support 441 provided in an ADF (auto document feeder) and is extended in lateral directions. The second extended part 475 is disposed independent from the ADF and is extended from the first extended part 474 to an image reading main unit. Thereby, with rotation of the ADF with respect to the image reading main unit, torsional rotation is induced in the first extended part 474 of the harness 471. |
