PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a substance with a reduced allergic substance content.SOLUTION: A method for obtaining a substance with a reduced allergic substance content includes: a first step of making a non-protein macromolecular substance which has both properties (a) and (b) described as follows come into contact with a compound containing the allergic substance; and a second step, subsequent to the first step, of collecting the remainder of the compound obtained by removing the non-protein macromolecule. The properties of the non-protein macromolecular substance are: (a) having a molecular weight exceeding 50,000; and (b) having at least one cysteine residue. |
