PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus of an automatic transmission, capable of suppressing vibration when a gear is changed and changing a gear quickly.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission 4 for automatically converting driving force of a motor 2 in response to an operation state includes: a plurality of gear pairs 25 included on a rotary shaft of the automatic transmission 4; a synchromesh mechanism 26 for joining the gear pairs 25 to the rotary shaft and transferring the driving force of the motor 2 to the gear pairs 25; and a change-over device for applying a load to the synchromesh mechanism 26 by an actuator and changing a junction state between the gear pairs 25 and the rotary shaft when a shift request is detected. A control apparatus 51 of the automatic transmission 4 includes: preliminary load control means 63 for actuating the change-over device and applying a preliminary load for a predetermined period to the synchromesh mechanism 26 when the shift request is detected; and shift control means 62 for actuating the change-over device and applying a shift load larger than the preliminary load to the synchromesh mechanism 26 when the predetermined period passes. |
