A portable self-defence illuminator (1), in which a control module (10) is respectively connected to a switching assembly (11), a light-emitting assembly (12), a power source module (13), a motion detection module (14) and a warning module (15). In the case that the control module (10) judges that the switching assembly (11) is switched to a first mode, the control module (10) orders the power source module (13) to transmit the electric power to the light-emitting assembly (12), to enable the light-emitting assembly (12) to emit visible light at first brightness; in the case that the control module (10) judges that the switching assembly (11) is switched to a second mode, the electric power supplied by the power source module (13) to the light-emitting assembly (12) is powered off; and in the case that the control module (10) judges that the switching assembly (11) is switched to a third mode, the control module (10) starts up the motion detection module (14), and when the motion detection module (14) detects that an object moves in an environment, the motion detection module (14) can transmit to the control module (10) a motion warning signal, to enable the control module (10) to send out a warning notice through the warning module (15) to prompt a user. |
