摘要 The present invention relates to an agent-based energy management system (EMS) and method, which involve distributing a centralized operation algorithm to lower agents and optimizing the operation algorithm to achieve the improved performance of the whole system. The agent-based energy management method enables the real-time monitoring of at least one plant to be managed on a micro-energy grid, as well as the control of energy production and consumption in the plant to be managed in the agent-based energy management system having an EMS server and lower agents connected to the EMS server, the method comprising the steps of: enabling the EMS server to establish a transaction and scheduling plan for remote monitoring, for generation management, and for system operation for the plant to be managed; and enabling a plurality of lower agents arranged to partially assume the role of the EMS server and perform real-time control or emergency control on the plant to be managed based on the transaction and scheduling plan of the EMS server, wherein each of the lower agents acquires data corresponding to the role thereof from the plant to be managed, and processes the acquired data.
