METHOD FOR SCREENING MICRORNAS WITH GENE SILENCING FUNCTION AT BOTH LEVELS OF TRANSCRIPTION AND POST-TRANSCRIPTION

Provided is a method for screening microRNAs with gene silencing function at both levels of transcription and post-transcription. The microRNAs obtained via the screening method can down-regulate the expression of mRNAs of a target gene by binding a specific site of the 5'flanking region of the target gene, and also down-regulate the expression of proteins of the target gene by binding a specific site of the 3'untranslated region of the target gene. Also provided are the microRNAs obtained via the screening method and the use thereof in gene silencing and a method therefor.
