PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform discharge adjustment of each nozzle after specifying a discharge adjustment pattern formed under the condition that a gap is close to its ideal state and eliminating an influence of a variation in the gap as much as possible by using the discharge adjustment pattern.SOLUTION: A density measuring pattern 62 and determination patterns 63 are each formed by discharging inks from a plurality of nozzles 31 in each of a plurality of pattern formation areas of recording paper. The determination pattern 63 includes a linear first determination pattern 63a and a linear second determination pattern 63b. A discharge condition of each of the plurality of nozzles 31 when the density measuring pattern 62 is formed is equal among the plurality of pattern formation areas. Discharge conditions of each of the plurality of nozzles 31 when the first determination pattern 62a and the second determination pattern 62b are respectively formed are also equal among the plurality of pattern formation areas.
