PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a longitudinally corrugated product.SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing a longitudinally corrugated product includes a first set of corrugation forming bars and an opposite second set of corrugation forming bars. The first and second sets of corrugation forming bars together define a first wave-forming labyrinth effective to introduce a longitudinal corrugation in web travel through them along a web travel pathway in an apparatus direction. The corrugation forming bars approach a centerline of the web travel pathway along the apparatus direction when viewed from above the pathway. |
