Disclosed are an information providing device and method, and an information acquiring device and method. The information providing device comprises: a wireless transceiver unit configured to monitor and respond to a wireless communication connection request; a trigger connected to the wireless transceiver unit, where the trigger is configured to detect whether or not a triggering event used to request for information transmission has occurred; and a controller connected to the wireless transceiver unit and to the trigger, where the controller is configured to determine and instruct the transmission of information on the basis of the triggering event detected by the trigger. Hence, the information providing and acquiring devices and methods of the present invention are capable of providing a download scheme of a high data rate and large data volume. |
