PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately discriminate a communication partner of profile information at the time of profile information exchange.SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 10A transmits a communication request including direction information indicating the direction the terminal is facing to a mobile terminal 10B by a short-range communication function. The mobile terminal 10B discriminates whether it faces the communication terminal 10A or not on the basis of its own direction information and the direction information included in the received communication request. When the mobile terminal 10B has discriminated that they are facing each other, it transmits a communication permission notice to the mobile terminal 10A. The mobile terminal 10A having received the communication permission notice transmits profile information to the mobile terminal 10B by short-range communication when a user performs prescribed operation.
