PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform alignment without deteriorating characteristics.SOLUTION: An optical module includes: a first rigid wiring board 10 provided with an edge connector 12; a second rigid wiring board 14 on which an optical transmitting device 18 and an optical receiving device 20 are mounted; a flexible wiring board 32 for electrically connecting the first rigid wiring board 10 and the second rigid wiring board 14; and a case 34 housing the first rigid wiring board 10, the second rigid wiring board 14, and the flexible wiring board 32. The case 34 has a first opening 36 for exposing the edge connector 12 and a second opening 38 for exposing a photoelectric conversion element 16. An optical interface connector 40 is constituted by the second opening 38, the optical transmitting device 18, and the optical receiving device 20. |
