PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program, capable of easily outputting a layout image in which image degradation is suppressed.SOLUTION: An image processing method comprises the steps of: determining whether an image to be arranged in a layout image meets prescribed criteria when the image to be arranged is changed to a preset reference picture size (S703, S706); changing the reference image size set in the image to be arranged when the determination steps determine that the image to be arranged does not meet the prescribed criteria (S705, S708); and generating a layout image by changing the image to be arranged to the preset reference image size or the reference image size changed by the reference image size change steps and arranging the image (S709, S710). |
