PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber, in which a diffusion rate of an excreted liquid is so high that the excreted liquid can be absorbed promptly and which has an excellent fitness to the body of a wearer.SOLUTION: The absorber comprises a mono-layered structure portion 10. The absorber is separated into: a first absorbing portion 11 positioned at the center; and a second absorbing portion 12 and a third absorbing portion 13 extending longitudinally from the first absorbing portion 11. A highly absorptive polymer existing in the second absorbing portion 12 has a higher basis weight than that of a highly absorptive polymer existing in the third absorbing portion 13. A first recess 21 extends in one direction is formed on the surface of the first absorbing portion 11. The first recess 21 has its end portion failing to reach the side edge of the absorber 10, and its extending direction is directed in the longitudinal direction of the absorber 10. A second recess 221, continuing from at least the first recess and extending in the longitudinal direction of the absorber 10, is formed in the surface of the second absorbing portion 12. |
