PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object conveyance device capable of efficiently conveying even an object having any hardness.SOLUTION: A paper discharge device 2058 includes a moving body device 72 including a moving body movable in an X-axis direction, and a pressing body device 74 including a pressing body movable in a Z-axis direction between a pressing position where recording paper opposing the moving body in the Z-axis direction is pressed against the moving body and a retreat position retreating from the pressing position. The moving body moves in a -X direction with the pressing body positioned at the pressing position, and moves in a +X direction with the pressing body positioned at the retreat position.
