The invention relates to cosmetic preparations, containing (a) at least one cosmetic formulation component from the group comprising oil bodies, emulsifiers, and surfactants and (b) at least one preservative from the group comprising glycolipids, which follows formula (I), in which n = 1 or n = 2, R1 means H or COCH3, R2 is the same or different and stands for H or a group (Ib), wherein n can represent the numbers 1, 2, or 3, R3 is the same or different and means H or OH, R4 means OH or OCH3, R5 means H or (II) or (III), wherein n can represent the numbers 1, 2, or 3, R6 means H or OH, and R7 means H or OH or =O, or one of the salts thereof.
