The base station is provided with a receiving unit for receiving adjacent base station information that is transmitted from an adjacent base station and that pertains to a user terminal connected to said adjacent base station, and a control unit for modifying the carrier configuration of at least one carrier among the multiple carriers on the basis of the adjacent base station information.
