<p>The device (1) has two parallel and mirror-image push cups (2,2') and a bench vise (8), which couples the device to a pipe line to be pushed or pulled. A pivot arm (6) is placed between a pedestal (5) and a main cylinder (3) and is connected with the pedestal by a pin (9), around which the pedestal rotates. The pin is moved by a vertical-adjusting cylinder (7). A counter pressure-roll path is placed between the two push cups, which lies orthogonal to longitudinal axis of the pedestal. The counter pressure-roll path is hinged to the pivot arm on a hinge point (21). The pivot arm in interaction with a positioning cylinder (4) and with the vertical-adjusting cylinder imparts a variable geometry, which has the ability to automatically engage countless variable angle in connection with countless variable height to a horizontal working axis.</p> |
