A faucet 10 is provided having a spout 14 and a sprayhead 16 releasably coupled to the spout 14. A hose 36 having a magnetically responsive collar 78 thereon provides fluid through the spout 14 to the sprayhead 16. A magnet 82 is located in the faucet 10 such that when the sprayhead 16 is coupled to the spout 14, the collar 78 magnetically couples to the magnet 82, thereby applying sufficient magnetic force to the hose 36 to retain the sprayhead 16 against the spout 14. |
