Cutting torch - of simplified manufacture gives improved mixing of heating and cutting gases

The parent patent describes a cutting torch for thermochemical machining comprising an inner cutting O2 supply pipe (I) and an outer heating O2 supply pipe (II) spaced from (I), the pipes being mfd. by drilling and then die forging. (I) is die forged before it is inserted into (II) and the die forging does not remove a part of the material of (I) and does not deform it. The improvement comprises arranging on the exterior surface of (I) or the interior surface of (II) a portion whic does not reach either end of (I) but which surrounds it where the exterior surface does not touch (II) when (I) is in place.
