An embodiment of the present invention provides an energy generation system which includes: a distribution board which distributes power supplied from a system; a first power converting device which converts DC power from a renewable energy generation module into AC power by using the power of the system distributed through the distribution board as operation power; a first switch which is arranged between the distribution board and the first power converting device and controls operation power supplied to the first power converting device; and a home energy managing device which determines whether the power is generated by the renewable energy generation module or not and controls the operation power supplied to the first power converting device by controlling the first switch according to the determination result.
