The present invention relates to a spindle motor which includes: a shaft which includes a top thrust plate on the top thereof and a bottom thrust plate on the bottom thereof; a sleeve which is formed with a hollow cylindrical shape to rotate with oil by maintaining a gap with the shaft; a hub which includes a cylindrical part which provides a space to receive the sleeve, a disk part which is deployed on the disk part in an external direction, a skirt part which is vertically and downwardly extended on the edge of the disk part, and a cylindrical hydrodynamic bearing part which protrudes to the center of the disk part; and a base which includes a cylindrical support unit in the center thereof. |
