Watering can (10) has side wall (22) of deformable non-rigid plastics material forming a self-supporting structure when it holds water or other liquid but, when empty, can be folded up by a twisting action whereby lid (16) is rotated relative to base (14) until it is substantially collapsed and presents a greatly reduced size. Thus watering can (10) has a structure which has two forms, one being fully erected and available for use as a watering can, and another being in a collapsed state in which it occupies considerably less volume and so is convenient for storage and transport. |
