The barrier system 2, suitable for use as a temporary barrier, has a body which comprises a pair of parallel arms and V shaped shoulders which may extend from the arms 16 so that the apex is remote from the body. The barrier may also comprise wing members 10 which are rotatably attached to the barrier. The arms may be pivotably attached to a pair of feet which may be adapted to co-operate with each other using a ratcheting mechanism. At least one of the feet may include a head and neck portion adapted so that these are also pivotable relative to each other. Also claimed is a connector 12 for a barrier system which may comprise a gripping portion for being received in an aperture in the barrier. |
