PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for easily preventing insertion of a connection cable between a base and a cover. SOLUTION: A housing is formed of a pair of members, and a coupling member 33 for connecting an inner component 32 of one member 2 and an inner component 31 of another member 1 is arranged in the housing. The one member 2 includes a fitting section 4 having a claw section and two guides arranged on both sides of the claw section. The other member 1 includes an engaging section 3 in which tips of two parallel plates are connected in positions corresponding to the engaging section 4 of the one member 2 via a supporting section and which has a claw reception section whose opening is formed of the two parallel plates and the supporting section. The claw section and the two guides are inserted into the claw reception section from the opening in a state where the engaging section 4 of the one member 2 is engaged with the engaging section 4 of the other member 1, and a part of the coupling member 33 is sandwiched between the two guides.
