<p>In processing digital video signals from a digital video camera 10, the digital video signals are received and passed through digital filters 1-4 substantially in real time to generate multiple visually different videos. The visually different videos are stored and an interface 40 is displayed to allow a user to view and select at least one of the visually different videos. Only the selected visually different videos are retained in storage. Digital filters may be used to filter preview video for display. An identifier to identify the filter used can be stored with the videos. The filters can be from a library of filters and can result in modifying the input video to make it black and white, sepia, as if recorded as a Super 8 video, to soften the video appearance, to apply a colour temperature change, or morphing function, to remove some frames or to apply any type of colour or star filter.</p> |
