The present invention relates to a back pad peeling device for a glass plate capable of peeling a back pad from a carrier on which a float glass is put for polishing a surface of the float glass. The back pad peeling device according to an embodiment of the invention includes a base fixing a position of the carrier, a peeling roll rotating for peeling the back pad while being separated from the base at a regular interval, and an attachment member attaching a front end of the back pad to the peeling roll. The back pad is peeled from the carrier by the rotation of the peeling roll and the relative movement of the peeling roll and the base while the front end of the back pad is attached to the peeling roll by the attachment member.
